Barossa Valley Brewing
Our Philosophy

Barossa Valley Brewing beers share a commitment to quality and passion for adventure. All our beer is 100% all natural and contains only the finest ingredients. Our processes are exacting, we take no short cuts. We do not force carbonate (adding C02 to create bubbles) nor do we pasteurize our beer (heating it up to kill living organisms). We use live yeast to assist with carbonation and to help protect its integrity. The beer you enjoy is a living product and much like a fine wine has undergone a conditioning period to enhance its character. Unlike wine we do not suggest cellaring the beer, it is best fresh.

Our beers are also a little different from those from the major breweries. Be it the use of honey in Bee Sting or toying with Organic Hops in our Organic Ale, we are committed to experimentation so we can provide Australian beer enthusiasts with quality and variety.

Our Vision

Australia has a multitude of wineries that compete with the best in the world. Alas, knowledgeable commentary from foreign shores on the quality of our beers, is an entirely less flattering story. We plan to help change this fact. We brew at a winery in Australia's finest wine region, we draw on all the experience in this area to create beer that has all the complexity and balance as our finest wine. We use wine makers, sommeliers and chefs to create beers that will not just quench a thirst but also inspire your palate.

Our Goal

We are very proud of our 1st two beers. Both Bee Sting and our Organic Ale have been over a year in development and have enjoyed critical acclaim across the country. Both have involved months of consumer tasting to ensure we are producing beer that beer lovers will enjoy. However we have just begun what will be a long journey to provide many more well crafted, full flavoured ales. It is a journey we hope you will join us on as we continue to seek Excellence, Naturally.
